Laurynas has spent the last decade hand-finishing cars in Carrick-on-Suir. Every booking is single-vehicle and worked by him personally — no rotations, no apprentices, no shortcuts.

A short version of a long story.

Laurynas began detailing as a teenager in Lithuania, working weekends with a polisher and a half-decent set of pads in a friend's garage. What started as a side hustle became an obsession: how to bring back the depth in a tired clear-coat without burning through it, how to make a 20-year-old leather seat smell like a new car again, how to take a dull paint job and turn it into something that stops people in a car park.

After moving to Ireland in 2014, he opened LB Detailing in Carrick-on-Suir. The studio runs single-vehicle: one car at a time, in his own bay, with the door closed. No rushed jobs, no shared schedules, no shortcuts. Every paint correction is mapped, every ceramic coat is documented, every interior gets the time it actually needs.

Today the studio takes on everything from express valets for daily drivers to multi-week concours preparation for private collections across Ireland and the UK. Whatever the booking, the person picking up the polisher is Laurynas.

Process

How a booking actually runs.

Same five steps for every car — from express valets to multi-week concours commissions. Only the depth of each step changes.
  1. 01

    Inspection

    Paint thickness readings, lighting check, interior triage. We agree on scope before anything is touched.

  2. 02

    Decontamination

    Snowfoam, two-bucket safe-touch wash, iron + tar removal, clay treatment.

  3. 03

    Correction

    Single- or multi-stage machine polish with paint readings on every pass to protect the clear-coat.

  4. 04

    Protection

    Ceramic, PPF, or sealant — applied in a closed bay with controlled humidity.

  5. 05

    Handover

    Final walk-around in studio light, aftercare instructions, warranty registration.
